Donna Furon has volunteered with the Southern California Region since 1989. She is the Registrar; she also performs many regional contest management tasks, edits problem text, and sometimes offers problem ideas. She has helped ICPC HQ test changes in the registration system from time to time. She has been as a runner at Finals for several years.

Donna has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (Lingustics minor), Magna Cum Laude, from The California State University Dominguez Hills. She worked at The California State University, Chancellor's Office for 24 years in many positions; her final five years were as Project Director, Data Warehouse. She served as Track Chair of the [Oracle/Peoplesoft] Higher Education Users Group (HEUG) where she was primary author of "HEUG Reporting Solutions Comparison White Paper." She was a founding member of the Higher Education Data Warehouse Forum (non-vendor group) and a member of Oracles's HEUG EPM Campus Solutions Working Group. From 2009 - February 2017 she was an independent consultant (business analyst) in data warehousing and contract development for institutions including UC Berkeley, the University of Maine System, University of Texas, Dallas, University of Texas Medical Branch and the City of Minneapolis.
